Granny is Cassie’s mom, Teresa, and she was raised on this classic chicken dish! It all starts with buttered-herb stuffing then has layers of juicy white meat chicken, Granny’s signature chicken gravy, and topped with more stuffing mix to add a little crunch. Her chicken casserole was always a favorite among friends growing up!
Granny’s Chicken & Herb Casserole meal kit comes to you with your choice of two sides:
Roasted Harvest Vegetables: Our love for Brussels sprouts runs deep and we take them very seriously in the Stockton house. When roasted in the oven, they caramelize and take on such a delicious flavor profile that pair well with autumn flavors (in this case butternut squash & cranberries). We toss with a Honey-Balsamic Reduction and include Feta crumbles to top to finish!
Sauteed Green Beans with Crispy Bacon: This dish starts by blanching green beans to lock in the beautiful green color and then we take bacon drippings and sauté until perfectly tender but with a bite of texture.
Southern Cauliflower Salad: This Southern Cauliflower Salad recipe was gifted to our recipe book by our sweet and hardworking teammate, Lynne! When we were bouncing menu ideas off of each other, she recalled one of her favorite salad recipes, made a batch for us to enjoy, and oh my goodness - did we ever!! It’s packed full of cauliflower, broccoli, bell peppers, smoked Gouda, red onion, and a sweet, creamy red wine vinegar dressing. We hope each of you enjoy this true southern gem!
Cobb Salad with Buttermilk Ranch Dressing: Our Chopped Cobb Salad comes to you loaded with hard boiled egg, finely shredded carrots, red cabbage, cherry tomatoes, shaved red onion, cheddar cheese, and our housemade Buttermilk Ranch dressing.
Buttered Yeast Rolls: Our Buttered Yeast Rolls are made the old fashioned way. Simply shaped into rounds and proofed in a warm temperature room, covered with a linen. We then brush with melted butter and bake until slightly golden in color and you guessed it- brush with melted butter when they come out of the oven.
