Each year, Chad requests this cake for his birthday - and for good reason! It offers the comforting flavors that you would find in a delicious slice of banana bread but in cake form. The crumb is tender and moist from the mashed bananas, crushed pineapple, and apple sauce. The cake layers get a lovely dose of Brown Sugar-Cream Cheese Buttercream that has a dash of cinnamon to play off the warm spices found inside the cake. The exterior gets rolled in toasted pecans and swirls of buttercream finish the top!
